Tinier than expected, but that does not matter much. I like the little lock system to keep it propped open while air-drying. I have a Krutz 200 violin that has always been caked with rosin, and I usually removed it just by wiping my finger over the strings. But I realized that doing that could potentially damage the strings, so I looked for a rosin remover and found this! Works perfectly and efficiently. I don’t try to move it up and down the fingerboard, as it pushes the strings up and I don’t want them to pop. Overall, this is an amazing product and I recommend it!

I love this little string cleaner. Others have mentioned that the spring broke which I could potentially see happening. But, I really only use the little handles to open it up and attach to the string and from there guide the entire cleaner with my fingers to the opposite edges so I'm not straining those handles. Cleans well. My instructor had never seen one of these and ended up getting one for her violin too.

I've had mine for at least 2 years now. This is a great cleaning tool for my violin. The only thing I can say where there needs to be improvement is the microfiber could be a little thicker. I think mine is wearing out and I do intend to buy another one. I guess they're not made to last forever.

So disappointing. Worked well for almost a month and then the spring and the rod SNAPPED off, without using any pressure or force. Wonderful design with terrible construction. WASTE OF HARD EARNED MONEY! Your are better off with a cheap cloth. Buyer beware!!!

It made it so much more easier to clean my violin, and there are so many ways to use it, u can clean the strings, beneath the finger board and so much more. 10/10 recomend! Even my teacher wanted one!

Honestly, I take a little longer with a 6x6 inch microfiber cloth I use jut for strings, but I do a much more thorough rosin removal with that than with this gadget. It's a nice idea, it's just.. I do better with just a rag. No liquids, no chemicals, just a little microfiber rag.

Compre este producto porque habÃa visto reseñas en internet y quise probarlo. Funciona como anunciado pero una micro fibra de limpieza puede hacer lo mismo. Nada especial.

A really brilliant idea and works very well. Well made and top quality. Can't get off heavy rosin in the playing area, but I don't really expect it to. Every violinist should have one!
