This is the authentic helmet bag most soldiers had around for their carry all bag. It's great quality and the bigger variant. I can carry anything I want in this "tactical man purse" and look cool doing it! I don't care what you say it's still way cooler than a fanny pack!

Its a little bigger than what I need. The two pockets in front are large, velcro and a snap button. The two inside pockets are good size, no closure thou. The shoulder strap and handles are sturdy, nice green nylon bag. I use to have a similar one in the Army as a helicopter Crew and a flight helmet can fit in it. I use it for civilian headphones, maps, papers, stuff. No issues.

Other than the zipper not being very smooth to open or close, it's been holding up well as a nice tote bag. A few loose threads out of the bag but I just burned those down.

I can barely squeeze my helmet in. The bag looks like it's about to explode from the pressure. No room for anything else. I bought this to replace my military issue bag (which was lost). It is not a good replacement.Also, the bag feels "cheap" Can't put my finger on it exactly, but it just doesn't feel well made.You get what you pay for!

This is a great bag. I had one for years when I was in the Navy but ended up giving it away when I retired. I came across this on Amazon and thought I'd give it a try. I actually prefer this to the service issued bag I had. The shoulder strap is really nice and the two side pocket come in really handy to keep small items in.

It’s just as advertised. No kidding, my new dog chewed through the handle of my old one from my Army days. This one side by side is pretty close. Mine had the nylon zipper so it wouldn’t scratch the helmet, the this one has a brass zipper. Other than that, near exact in size and padding.
