I am by no means a pen expert, but this pen does perform really well. It is plastic, but it doesn’t feel very cheap. The ink flows very smoothly. If you haven’t used the pen for a few days you may need to suck on the tip or dunk it in water to get the ink flowing but it never stops in the middle of use. The only thing is that the pen doesn’t write at as many angles as some others do because of the style of the nib.(Ps. I’m sorry for the weird environment the picture were taken in. My desk is an absolute disaster so I had to take one of the pictures on the floor and another on a book I’m reading. I did buy this pen from a third party vendor, so your packaging may be different. The packaging this came in was excellent and protected the pen very well.)

I was looking for a writing pen to substitute for pen & ink. This is really for technical work - It has to be held exactly vertical to get the ink to flow evenly. Line was also bolder than I expected. An annoyance is that the cap doesn't fit on the other end of the pen - Very easy to lose track of.

I love this pen but it has broken where the ink barrel screws into the pen.It gives nice, fine lines for my watercolor doodling, but these are way too expensive to be failing after a few months.

I love the pen, but I have broken two of them. Once pressing down too hard and second by sitting on it accidentally. I wrote this review primarily as a warning to BE CAREFUL with it. It is a great pen and wonderfully satisfying to write and draw with, but just be careful when using it

Pens cracked within weeks, ink lines are not consistent unless you shake the pen.Stick with Microns, they are cheaper and do not have these issues
