Seems like a perfect mount for my new winch on my Can-Am. Watched a few Youtube videos on how to install a new winch mount or front bumper then just dove right in. It was really easy after watching the videos. The included instructions are not very good (small black and white Xerox photos? lol). I ended up taking off the upper body fairings and hood so I could move the radiator up out of the way. Made accessing the 2 upper control arm nuts a breeze. HINT: Jack up the front just until the front tires are almost off the ground, so the control arm bolts stay in position for mounting your new winch mount on. Some people said they needed to come-along the front tires to realign the arm bolts - you don't do that. Some people said they needed to oblong the mount holes - you don't do that either!

No issue’s putting this on my 2020 x3. All holes lined up perfectly. Only took a half hour to install. Badlands 3500 winch fits this mount nicely but will need to get a bigger fairlead. Definitely suggest this product!

Got a 5klb badlands winch to use with this mounting plate. I called and asked if this winch would specifically fit. I was told yes. The 5k badlands winch does not fit, the bolt pattern is larger than that. Luckily I know how to weld and fabricated it so this winch would work. Pretty pissed rough country would lie to me just to make a damn dollar. Whatever.

Driving very slowly up a short, steep creek bank and the lower right corner of the skid plate portion of the winch mount hit with a slight thump. Thought nothing of it, but later the x3 started overheating. Upon inspection it appeared as if the fan was seized. After removing the front plastic it was immediately apparent that the bottom right corner of the winch mount had folded back, like an accordion, permanently twistng the radiator and breaking the fan shroud and fan.. There was no damage to the supposedly weak x3 bulkhead. Don’t waste your money on this inferior product with no support from RC.
