I ordered 2 of these items and left them sitting on my piano to acclimate to the room temperature and stabilize. The first one stabilized and looks normal but the second one the temperature looks fine but the Hydrometer is not registering on the scale. This is the reason I purchased these devices for storage in my guitar case to monitor the humidity.

Not much else to say about that. Took it a long time to get here coming from China, but I've been very happy with the product itself. I use it in my ukulele case to keep track of the humidity and it's perfect.

The larger display is the temperature, which is not why I purchased a hygrometer for an instrument case. The smaller hygrometer scale is so small it takes either amazing eye-sight or a magnifying glass to read. I also question the accuracy. The second digital hygrometer reads quite a bit differently than this smaller mechanical hygrometer.

Hygrometer was very inaccurate. It said about 35% when two other hygrometers that I trust said 45%. I sent it back. You get what you pay for. I ordered the Cigar Oasis Analog Hygrometer by Western Humidor instead.
