I use the Router Plane to mount hinges and clean up the bottom of groves when I am doing wood working. It is small but it is good for just this task.The depth of cut is easily adjustable and it provides a much better finish than I got with a chisel.

But it seems to be a returned item as cutter edge was jagged. Time lost tuning up cutter.

Great little router plane, just make sure to snug up (apply thread lock) to all bolts under plane face and it works great

It seems good. Never owned one before so not much to compare it to. It does the job it was designed for though and easy to use

This thing came out of the box sharp enough to cut, but that being said, like all hand planes it should be sharpened. The back of the iron flattened pretty quickly so it came from the factory pretty close to flat. The iron isn't the hardest metal I've seen in an iron, but it's very serviceable. Once I took it up to 3000 grit and stropped it, it took a razor sharp edge.It also seems like the sole is nice and flat.I also like the iron attachment design, it's got an interlocking system that makes it impossible to misalign when you screw it on.Overall, for the price it is a very good plane.

Handles easy to hold, and blade is sharp, but it only plunges 1.2â€. I just finished building a maple workbench with 26 blind mortises and this didn’t help on any of them because they were 1.5 - 1.75†deep. Color me disappointed.
