It works perfectly. The direction booklet is not very clear. Be expecting to watch you tube for directions.

This cash register was already broken when I had received it. When I opened up the box to use and program the register, it didn't work at all! I couldn't even program it to work or set the two-digit number placement.

Great cash register for the money. We are not using all the features such as separate clerks, departments, etc. Programing was easy after watching YouTube videos.

Hola!We just received ours. It's not set up yet, so I can't speak about its performance. I'll review that later. I just wanted to be sure and write about the instruction manual since I've noticed other reviews complaining about it.We also received an instruction manual all in Spanish. But, if you just look on the page where you bought it, you'll see a link to the instruction manual in PDF format. It only took a minute to download it. I'd rather have it in the computer than a booklet anyway. I've looked it over and it appears to be user friendly. Once we get it rolling I'll review it again.Adios amigos

We bought as a replacement for another Royal that stopped working, like the one before that, that stopped working. The only reason we bought another was because it was so close to the previous register that we all knew how to work it. When you have no time to learn a new register, it's just easy to get one that you know how to use. Hopefully this one is better.

Step one, throw out the manual. Step two, go to YouTube and learn how to use it. I couldn't find this model, but the video tutorials of the previous models applied to this register.To the manufacturer.... find someone who has never used this product to give feed back and help write a more simplified manual.

This was a Total waste of time and money! I never write reviews much less bad ones but this is the worst thing I’ve ever purchased from Amazon! Directions weren’t even in English and YouTube was very little help! Save your money!!
