- OLD GE KNOB
Older GE dimmer switches push in to turn on, then rotate to dim. This discontinued knob, common in older homes, had a circular opening with ridges that wore down over time

Simply slide the dimmer stem into ridged opening on the knob, making sure one of the knob's wings is aligned with the slit in the GE stem

I've been looking for a replacement knob for my dimmer switch in my kitchen. It's not one of the newer models it's one of the older models. This one works perfect fits well, and does the job.

The posts on my dimmer switches are too large to fit the holes in these knobs in two locations. I will have to return

This is the ONLY knob that fits my ceiling fan. I was very happy to find it.
