I bought this set as the most affordable way to purchase the two drums that are missing from my Craftsman oscillating sander, plus a third dum that was too tight (and had to be put in the freezer to loosen the sleeve).

I purchased these to make a set of small wheels for my 2"x72" sander/grinder. These worked great for that purpose and are well made. These are even long enough that you can cut them in half and make two sets if you want, which is what I did. One set for my 2"x72" vertical grinder and one set for my 2"x72" horizontal grinder. It's a great way to save a boat load of money by making these yourself. Buy some steel rod, some bearings and build a holder and you have a nice small wheel attachment set or two for you grinder.

I purchased these to replace the original drums for my Ridged Oscillating/drum sander that were lost during a move. Fit and work like the original. I wish they would make this a 5 pc. kit and add a 2 1/2" dia. drum, or just replace the 3" with a 2 1/2" drum.Ridgid has discontinued many of the parts for their sander THAT THEY ARE STILL SELLING IN HOME DEPOT STORES!

These measure the same as the OD of the sanding drum they are supposed to fit in. Will have to take them down about 1/16".
