These are just what I needed for walking the dog after dark. The magnets are strong and clip on my back. The light is bright. Love the small size and that they are rechargeable.

I chose this set of lights because the lights are each in a silicone case, the price is very good and the illumination is decent. That way if I drop one, it’s protected better than a cheap plastic cover. Thses lights have fairly strong white LED illumination and modes for a solid red light or blinking red lights. I usually tuck this light into the top of my shorts on my backside and put it on flashing red when it’s dark. The magnets keep it in place when I am moving. I have never had one of these lights drop off as long as the magnets are securing it. Before this pair, I had already been using a slightly larger LED light which I tuck in to the front of my shorts to illuminate my path in the dark. Together, pure white light in front and this in flashing red mode in back, I have the best combination. I feel pretty safe when I have both lights (and a can of mace clipped on) when it’s dark out. I have noticed that cars see me quite well and move over hundreds of feet ahead of me for that part of my routine where I am forced to be on the road. I took off one star because the silicone case is open on one side. It would be better if it were fully enclosed with one side having a small flap for the charger (USB). To charge these lights by USB, I have to push them out the one side of their silicone case that is open to gain access to their charging ports. All in all, these are still really small light weight lights that throw out a lot of light and are really easy and useful. I have even clipped them onto the front and back of my son’s bike since the magnet hold them so well in place and they kick out a lot of light.

These are good for my morning walking. They are very bright and you don’t have to charge them often. The one thing I don’t like is that I have dropped them on three separate occasions. They’ll pop/slip right off ya if your clothing is too thick, which it needs to be when it’s cold.

This was a great purchase. I am thinking about buying a 2nd set. The material feels soft and comfortable against the skin. The magnetic closure/clasp hold well as long as the fabric isn’t too thick like layered winter clothing. The light can be seen from a very good distance.

We had in impromptu night-time event coming up and needed some "body lighting" for walking around. We are so glad that we chose these. Even on the dim setting, they are plenty bright to see where you are going. Used them both several hours one night, and had no discharging issues whatsoever! Highly recommended.

I purchased this due to its price and there was two of them. I run early in the morning when it's dark. I have stumbled over things I didn't see on the sidewalk so this was my solution. Well, It does light an area directly in front of me for about 3 feet at its brightest setting. The next lowest setting is so others can see me, not so I can see. The settings: Bright (white light) Not very bright (white light) Not very bright red light and flashing red light. If I were going camping or doing other things in the dark other than exercising, I would have a use for the red light. How long does it last? I only find the brightest setting of any use for me so it will last about 90 minutes. I tried to go running two days in a row without charging it and it died on my half way. I will fun for about an hour so the 90 minutes is an approximation. I now charge it every time I use it. When I get done, I put it on the charger and by the time I head out to work (approximately 1 hour) it's charged up.It's easy to charge up and know it's charging and when it's done. When you plug it in to a micro usb a light glows red. When it's done charging the light turns green.I have a running pack that's like a fanny pack that faces the front. I leave the front pouch unzipped and that's where I put the magnetic holder. It is so light, I have little concern it will fall out.I will keep this and use it as a back up light but need something brighter for the crappy sidewalks I run on.

Wasn't sure what to expect from the magnetic closure on these, given the reviews. But the manufacturer must've heard the customers and the magnetic hold is really great. Definitely way beyond what I expected. The lights are quite bright so I just make sure to aim it (or them) in such as was as to avoid blinding myself with the light. But I walk before first light and really need things well lit ~ especially if I'm in the woods and need to avoid tree roots, etc. They do the job. They're supposed to do. Only downside is that the silicone covers must be removed to recharge the lights. The unit doesn't just slide out ~ let's say that. But once it's out, there's a light to indicate whether it's charging or done and that's a very nice feature.
