HOW TO REPLACE
- Install the front part into the door;
- Mounting strike plate;
- Verify the deadbolt knob to match the front part;
- Assemble the back part, and mount pinch plate and tighten the screws.

This door latch was for my 2018 Forest River r-pod 171 it was a perfect fit" I love to finish of it, flat matte black, it's not as heavy as original but it feels like it's still heavy duty" and will last a long time I'm very satisfied with it" and especially the price😉👠I would definitely buy this again, if I had to, and I do recommend it" it is a standard size for RVs.

Got locked into our travel trailer one night. Not fun. We have an older model with the back access doors for the bunks however you can't open those from inside. Luckily we were able to call someone rather than climb out the emergency windows. Used one on the main door and the other on the bunk access. Now we have an extra emergency exit. Works great and easy to install.

With a slightly different footprint it installed quickly and easily. Easier than I expected. Less than ten minutes with no cutting needed. Just remove fox small bolts, remove old mechanism; install new mechanism and replace six bolts. Works great.

Felt like a heavy quality handle in the box. The interior (white plastic) lock lever was broken off it's post and was too short to use out of the box with a few pieces of it loose inside. I figured maybe not a big deal, I might just try to use the red plastic one off of my old door handle or possibly just use the old inside handle with the new outside handle. That's when I discovered the "metal" on the outside frame had a crack in it too. I then decided to return it for a refund instead of a replacement. This particular handle was likely damaged from a drop but I guarantee you this is not a quality product. Buy one from a RV or tractor supply.

Lost the keys to my old door lock so therefore we had to replace the whole unit. This was affordable and we took a chance that we were ordering the right size and everything worked out! Very happy!

The latch was shipped and received very quickly. The product is exactly as described. Made of metal and good solid construction on it. Easy to install, it took less than 10 minutes and no trips to the ER. It a recommended product.
