Used this while parked at a friend's home where a 5th wheel usually parks. My friend ran a 50 amp cable out to my 24 foot trailer, and I used this adapter to convert the 50 amp line to a 30 amp and there was no problem at all. No over heating, or any issues, and my trailer's electric ran just fine. Good solid adapter.

We got this to use as a backup just in case there is only 50 amp service available! Haven’t used it yet but I like the handles and the beefy cord! Looks to be well built!
