I just received these yesterday, and set to work replacing the ends on a couple of extension cords that I had previously put ends on a few years back.Unfortunately, the OTHER brand that I had purchased a few years back did NOT hold up well, and also were not that easy to install - based on how the screw attachments worked. Also, one end had rusted out a bit, and another had melted, so I decided to buy THIS brand instead, and try again.I was impressed by the quality of THIS brand - much sturdier, AND the way that you insert the wires into the holes and screw them down tight was a MUCH better design, and MUCH easier than the other brand. In fact, it so was so easy to install these ends, that I decided to build another 2 extension cords from scratch as well!I also REALLY liked the way that they designed the parts that grab the full wire - as it enters the body of these cord ends. When you easily line up the cord, and screw it down tight, the clamp has a really strong grip on the cord - which I'm sure will make the connections last much longer on my work sites!I am ready to order another set of these in the next few days!!

These 110v SJ cord male and female blade ends seem well made. I'll update my rating after I get a chance to use them. However they have a great price compared to others so that's a plus

My cabin is wired for 240v but all load are 120v on either L1 or L2. All current loads are small enough to the powered by a small120v inverter generator. I used this to build a cable (vs multiple adaptors) from a 120v generator to a 240v panel with L1 and L2 phases connected in this plug (i.e. real 240v loads won't work)Good clamping of the wires at the blades. But the actual 12-3 cable is too small for back-shell strain relief.

Actually a good product for the price. I needed two 15-amp 220vac horizontal spade males and one joining female for wiring in a septic tank pump monitor. I wanted the ability to easily bypass the monitor if it failed so I could keep the septic pump running. The male and female plugs are nice and I felt well built. BUT - in the middle of the wiring project, I found my plug was missing the two joining screws that hold the outer back case on. I checked the box and within the paperwork but no screws. Of course I wasn't going to stop and wait for a return / exchange. So I drilled out the plug so I could use larger screws I had on hand and finished the project. So as others have mentioned quality control is a little lacking. Check you plugs for all parts before you start your project. Overall though nice plugs.

Got my cord up and running again have been using it for quite a while with no issues. Went on fairly easy. Quality seems decent for the price.
