Omg! I am a middle school teacher.I am NOT trying to hunt down pencils not micromanage them.I teach in an urban public school and seriously, I just want kiddos to have a pencil if needed.I love that they are ready to go and pre-sharpened.I do not leave jars of pencils out usually (-only for "found pencils") - and simply give students a freshie if they ask for one.The price is right, even better when on sale.I have bought these several times.Teachers: just do it. You won't regret it!Parents: if your kid's teacher asks for a box of #2's on their supply list - please invest and gift that teacher some of these! You will totally win points with them haha!! Christmas is coming! Gift cards are great, but so is a ginormous box of pre-sharpened pencils mid-year!! Wink winkAbsolutely recommend!

We purchased these pencils because they were a good bargain. They are going to the middle school andelementary school for needy kids. I hope they are good quality pencils.

Buying pencils in bulk is the best way to go. Somehow we never have enough. These work for what we need.
