I tried a few other tools to adjust my Cello's Soundpost. They just didn't work great with it, and it would keep falling.This one held it in place and helped nudge it in combo with some of the other tools I had. It made placement fairly easy. I highly recommend this if you have a finicky cello. :)

Sure made the post go on easy, placed the tool in vice with plastic grips with the flat end up so I could first sharpen with file then tap the sound post onto it. After that no problem. Would recomend it.
