I have a newer HP Desktop with proprietary expansion slots. Because of that, when a recent Windows 11 feature update interfered with my ability to use my external speakers, I couldn't install a new standard sound card (which I hoped would circumvent the OS's interference with the existing sound card).Did a little homework and figured I'd give this inexpensive plug & play dongle a shot. To my surprise (and pleasure), it works every bit as well as a good sound card! My system recognizes my speakers again and stereo output is excellent. Bottom line, this is a no brainer. If an external sound card is what you're looking for, the Sabrent should be perfect for you.

The output audio of this device is great, its loud and decent quality. That said, the issue im having is that the audio input (microphone) will not work. I have tried everything in terms of troubleshooting and I believe got a device from a bad batch. With that if you do buy a sabrent product and want to call customer service I recommend you save yourself the headache because its almost comical how bad it is. Overall, while I have had good experiences with this brand in the past this one is an absolute dud.

Funciona perfecto en el puerto thunderbolt de mac mini M1 sin latencia de entrada ni de salida, sonido muy claro. Por su precio fue una muy buena adquisicion.

I got a new laptop with 2 USB C ports so I figured better to purchase equipment that I can use with this type of port. So far it works great. I use it for direct sound in while teaching Zoom Zumba classes.

Lo uso per poter registrare l'audio da una sorgente esterna mentre registro un video dal cellulare (Pixel7pro) usando Open camera. Funziona perfettamente.

Sabrent USB-C audio adaptor.Simple and effective and much less prone to interference/hum than a Y-splitter cable that connects via the headphone port. I use this on an M1 MacBook Air for recording guide voiceovers since it allows me to connect a hardwired lavalier mic and headphones for realtime monitoring. Using Audacity there is approx a half-second latency - but I also get that with the Y-cable so I guess that's just a system/software thing and not specific to the Sabrent. Good product with very low noise.
