This product fit and functioned perfectly. The instructions were pictures that were easy to follow. Does need some tools and but nothing that almost anyone would have, Phillips head screw driver is about it. Just make sure the model of your grill is on the list of grills it fits. Good value compared to OEM product and looks and works the same.

For 4 burner grills, like many others, this starter uses the ground lead for one of the burners, this reduces the spark on all burners because it effectively doubles the ignition distance. It works but the spark is much better with the grill body as ground.

Worked like a charm for first 8 months. After the Omaha winter, just stopped working. Grill was on covered deck. Back to using lighter till I can find a better one.

Weber grill (mine is a E-330 NG) had, over the course of 11 years, lost its electrical spark mojo. This made others in the house unhappy because of having to thread a lighter through the grill down to the gas bars, etc etc.Tried cleaning the contacts, got temporary fixes, but the corrosion just couldn't be held off. Bought this kit, got out a Philips head screw driver and some dielectric grease--and had the battery module swapped out in 8 minutes. Saved the wiring harness just in case (didn't need to replace those; the igniters at the bars themselves seemed fine). Worth it and simple to do. Happy grilling!

Perfect replacement for the igniter on my Weber Genesis. Comes with 5 igniters. I only needed 3. The instructions suggests removing the grill cover and the front doors. This was unnecessary.

We bought this kit for our Weber Genesis 330 bbq and installed it yesterday. We followed a YouTube Video for installation tips. It took about 1 hour but we cleaned the BBQ as we went along. Everything was easy to follow and, in the end, our new igniter worked very well.

Can't comment on durability as parts have only be installed for 3 weeks. easy installation with removal of heat deflector plate. Clear, easy to read instructions. Ensure the igniter "snaps" onto the gas tube and slightly overlaps it for proper lighting.
