Well the purpose of this kit is to lock out a hazardous utility( electrical, water, equipment) so it’s safe to service. I tested on my HVAC disconnect and it worked. Previous review stated the unit was missing a part. I seem to have gotten all that was promised. The 3 locks are individually keyed. Each lock has 2 keys. There are 10 tags and 2 - 6 position lock hasps. And a small bag of 10 are ties. There is a carrying case to wear on you belt. It will go on my tool pouch. Great kit will work for my needs. Plenty of room in the pouch to add specialized locks later. I recommend

Everything was as expected and delivered on time. Only problem is the zipper won't close. As you can see from the picture it was sewn into the bag with the teeth separated and the only way to fix it will be to open the seam and resew it. Which I will do. But QC needs to check better.

I teach at a local firefighter academy, and I got this to use as a visual aid during our class on electrical and utility safety. All of the parts mentioned were included, and it will likely do the lockout/tagout work it is designed to do. It also seems reasonably priced ($29.99 at the time of this review) when compared with other similar kits available.

Basic starter kit. Includes lock out tags, two lock clasps that allow for multiple locks to be used. Three long shank locks with individual keys and a zippered storage bag.

First of all, this is a really hand kit. I love that all of it can be stored neatly in the "fanny pack" that says LOCKOUT KIT on it. You do get three locks keyed different (and labeled A, B & C), two different type of hasps for lockout switches, lockout tags and some zip ties. However, the description states that you get two clamp on circuit breaker lockouts. You do NOT. They are not shown in any of the pictures and they were not in the kit. They're really important otherwise, you can't really lock out a breaker in a panel. So that's why I took a couple stars off. You could add them to this kit, but it should not be listed as coming in the kit when it does not. However, the locks are really nice as it the pack as I mentioned earlier. Makes it easy to grab and go.

I have been needing a lock out kit for a while now and this fits the need perfectly. Handy pouch, with several compartments holds everything with room for three times the amount in this kit.The nylon pouch has three outer pockets and one inner compartment inside the largest one. It appears to be a little weather resistant; I ran water over it from the sink and should last for several years if kept out of direct sunlight.The nicely packaged locks and keys are clearly marked and easy to read. You can only open and close the lock with the matching key.

This is a basic and handy little tag out set. Good for in the field.
