Very easy test to use. Worked great. Let me know water was safe after going through filter. The city I live in has lead feed lines that maybe replaced. Have been there for years before I was notified of the issue most of the city has.

I tested my tap water first and then water from my gravity filter--both tested positive. I obviously freaked out, but my husband suggested I test the RO water we buy from the grocery store. So I bought another pack, and tested that --- also showed a positive. This test is not accurate.I believe the company is betting that you will take them up on their written offer of a more precise test---that's what I was considering before I tested the RO water.Edit:Because I still had 1 test left, I decided to test a bottle of distilled water from the grocery store. Same result.

After an advisory from our local water authority, I sure appreciated the convenience of this simple & well-rated test. It gave me the all-clear (under 4 parts-per-billion of lead) within just a couple of minutes, although of course I observed it after ten minutes as stated in the directions.As others have noted (and some reviewers here clearly did not understand), the test strip displays two pink bars when the lead level is NOT above 4 ppb, and is only missing one or both bars if the lead level is above that or if other solutes are present which interfere with the proper operation of the test.

I got this after my water utility sent out a notice that there might be lead in the pipes in neighborhood houses (old rural area). This was recommended as simple and reliable, so I gave it a try. It was very easy to use, and the results were easy to read. My pipes are clear and my mind is at ease.

This product worked as expected. I wanted to flag for other people that the review posted by someone named Terson on September 2024 is completely wrong. Terson complains that the results were consistently false positives across all types of water. But the photos they post are photos showing NEGATIVE test results. They misinterpreted the results and are falsely stating that these negative results were all false positives - user error. Product was fine.
