These work great. I had bought two other brands prior to this one based upon the high number of reviews for the 'other' brands, but failed to really take into consideration the low ratings for those brands. There may not be a high volume of reviews here but the actual reviews are consistently good. Bottom line is that these headphones are great! They cancel out noise (my son recently took up the drums with a full size kit inside our home) and the sound is quite loud. I am now able to sit with him while he practices and my ear drums are not breaking! I can hear when these are on and we are just casually talking for the most part, but it is difficult, so I do need to remove, but it is not a big deal given the benefit of noise cancellation. The fit on these are also great. The other brands said kid through adult, which really did not make much send to me. Yes, they expanded, but the actual size of my ear compared to my 7 year old is, quite different. These are the perfect fit for an adult. And no, they do not fit my 7 yr old. Finally, the color is great, I went with purple and also purchased the red/black for my husband. We are both satisfied customers. I don't know if they would work at the shooting range, but I assume so - we will have to try that next! All in all, a great product & I highly recommend!

I would expect noise cancelling headphones to be tight but these were slightly uncomfortable to wear for the 2 hour monster truck show I went to.

Works great for people who easily become over stimulated. Now my autistic daughter can stay in the room when the rest of the family is watching a movie or playing video games with out being overwhelmed. Wish I had gotten these much sooner. Very comfortable

I have sensory processing problems. I am autistic and got this hoping that it would help drown out the sounds to lessen my overstimulation when I leave my house. I found that the texture made me extremely uncomfortable and it made rubber sqeaking noises that increased my irritability to the point of it being painful. I feel like a soft texture that is more fabric would be more helpful for people that have troubles like I do. They did block a lot of sound but they just don't satisfy me because of the sensation it gave me. I'm sorry Amazon, this just wasn't what I was looking for and if you have a child that is autistic these could put them into a meltdown and we don't want that. Get them something that sooths them. i know i was looking at many before I chose. I found a light weigh wireless headset that can be used to play music but need the ear pads changes, it was a logitech g435. The Bluetooth is easy to hook up. I hope this helps anyone struggling to find the right headset/headphones. I ordered memory foam pads for the ears.. I would have given this review better it it wasn't so poorly made but I hope you can find the headset I recommended. There are 3 colors I got to choose from.

I work in a shipping warehouse, and it's unbelievable loud most days, between machines and near constant alarms I felt like I was going crazy. These have been a lifesaver! They don't leave you totally deaf, but the get rid of probably 80% of the background sound. I do have a fairly small head though, and they fit me just about perfectly, so I'm not sure how comfortable they would be for anyone who isn't an average sized woman.
