This handle works so much better than the original plastic handle. It was easy to install. It fit perfectly. If the supplied screws which are philips head were robersons or torques it improve the ease of installation.

After my plastic screen door handle broke, I elected to get the aluminum. I was very pleased with how well it was built. It fit, but I did have to do some modification. Only because of my camper. It only has one issue with it, and that is that it sometimes does not come open with the main door because it will not release from the latch on the camper wall. This is nothing against the product, however something to keep in mind when installing. The retaining clip is plastic as well. This is was not as pleased about, but it does function. Overall, I am very happy about the product and will never go back to plastic! Especially with use in cold weather!

Nice quality hardware. As one of the pictures states, the latch and striker are plastic, not aluminum, but it is very high quality, nice plastic.Would recommend.

It's a shame RV manufacturers don't make these standard. It has a really nice powder coat finish that feels great and the overall latch is substantial, not like the flimsy plastic. I wound up getting 2 of these, not realizing they are basically the same but from different vendors. I have 2 doors on my travel trailer so this worked out really well. Add a metal screen to the bottom of the door and you can feel pretty confident that a push by a pet isn't going to let that door go anywhere. I'm really impressed with the quality. It's a great upgrade to cheap plastic handles. I've been remodeling my travel trailer for a few months now and I have to say that I am much happier with my remodel than I am buying a new one. I've had to rebuild so many things along the way that it feels new. Small things like this really do make a difference and gives the trailer a better quality look.

Direct replacement for the plastic latch on my camper door. Mine was worn out and not holding when my dog would bump it. I replaced it with this and now the door is staying latched.
