we were quoted over 1100 to install one of these rails through two pool companies. I ordered from Amazon and had a local handyman with previous experience who charged us only 150 dollars! Win WIN! The only drawback is that the end of the rail near the water is a little bit flexible or 'bendy'. But sturdy enough to help a 6'4" 300lbs adult out of the pool safely! :)

It is sturdy and it didn't need to bonded. I used plastic escuthens. Drilling in concrete not for everyone. It can be done by a handy homeowner

Very attractive but feels flimsy when I held it to go down the pool steps. Time will tell if it holds up. Right now , I’m pleased with it

Stays cool even in our heat. Came well packed, no scratches.
