This product being sold in a ghost hunting equipment kit is 100% lying and misinformation. Nobody wants just a radio. It needs to scan consistently and have the scan rate be adjustable. Both are features i have seen on even cheaper radios, so it's ridiculous that this one can't do it.Also, it doesn't even turn off. You have to remove the batteries to turn it off...Do not buy any kit from this seller that includes a "spirit box"!

The scanner works as a radio, not a constant scanner that loops as a Spirit box should. You have to manually rotate the knob for it to scan.

The spirit box is jist a cheap radio, it lacks the necessary scan function. I wish I had read the reviews before buying.
