The blades are not sharp it only cuts my vegetables in long strings like French fries. thought it chopped into small pieces it lays in the cupboard and I chop by hand

This works so AWESOME!!! I love cutting onions on it the most - cut them into big chucks before putting them onto the slicer then push down the lever and I make the onions into whatever size peices I like from big to small. Talk about a tear saver. Watch out, these cutting edges are sharp. They cut through hard stuff well when in slightly smaller chunks. My mom loves it, too.

This salad chef is OK. I initially thought it was great because it was chopping veggies like it supposed to do. Unfortunately as I used it more often I realized the metal attachments were flimsy. Mine broke while chopping pepper and tomatoes and I cant repair it. So I gave it a 3 star because the quality wasn't as expected.

I ordered 3 of these for family member. All 3 are missing the medium size cutting insert. I will be returning for a full return.

Like the magic bullet, i saw this infommertial and somehow decided at 3am that i really needed this... the truth is that it arrived a 7 weeks ago andit was only last week that i decided to open and use it , when i realized that it was incomplete! came without the salad spinner and with 2 identical square cutting blades rather than a big one and a small one( like the box/infommertial explained), as always, too lazy to return it... so i used the big square blade, perfect cuts and easy to clean, just wish it came complete so i could cut small vegetables too... like that it is super sturdy and you really don't make a mess using it. i only gave it 2 stars because it came incomplete! how can this things still happen?

First of all, I cook a lot and love to try out new kitchen gadgets. Not all work well, but this does a pretty good job overall. I admit I had a little trouble at first getting the desired results ( duh.. ) but became extremely successful with it after viewing the demo video on QVC.It is marketed there under another name but just go to their search bar and enter " vegetable chopper " and you should find it. Your success depends on how you place the food on the cutting blades as well as the thickness. Also, iceberg lettuce which tends to crush, will turn out great when placed rounded side up on the large cutting grid. It's great for salad, and did a great job chopping for egg salad. I look forward to using it for prep work for soups and stews. Even if you need to mince some things at least the major part of the cutting is done easily.

Use this almost daily. Cut up carrots; onions, celery to store in containers in the frig. - makes me eat more salads because with cut items I can make a salad quickly. Also great on potatoes for breakfast - fast and easy. Easy to clean as well.
