I bought this for the times I want to make a homemade salad dressing. I've had glass cruets before and they just seemed to take up space in my cupboards. I really appreciate the measure markers on the side--makes preparation so easy. This shaker cleans beautifully and is completely leakproof. It dispenses perfectly. It is the right size--no waste and no unnecessary storage space.I find myself making a lot more homemade dressings now--so much tastier than store-bought--and am very happy with this shaker.

Wow! am I glad that I decided to shake water in this before trying dressing!! No one wants to vigorously shake a bottle of vinaigrette and have oil flying on your clothes! The top O ring seals perfectly with a little pressure from your finger on the top toggle.The main lid seal is a bit finicky! It took several tries of replacing and screwing it on different amounts before I could get it to completely quit leaking. Basically, the O ring is a bit large and has to sit in just the right spot to seal completely. If it is off, it does throw a few drops with every shake. To be safe, I will ALWAYS put a paper towel around this... because it was totally trial and error to get the seal just right. And I'd rather be safe than sorry. It's still a great little dressing bottle. It just needs a better O ring, or better yet, a bit wider gasket that can't fail!

Very cheap looking plastic. Not at all what I expected. The box looked as if it had already been opened, ripped and re-taped.
