I needed this adapter to connect to a concrete core bit and bore a 4" hole in my block wall for an exhaust pipe. It worked fantastic. It worked just fine with no issues. This adapter feels very sold and worked perfectly for what I needed. It also tightened very well on the 1-1/4" UNC core bit and did not loosen.

Be sure to check your arbor size - this adapter is for the big ones - 1 1/4†and this adapter fits a true hammer drill (SDS Plus) which has more points of attachment between the drill and the adapter (vs. a tightened friction fit in a regular drill).High quality, worked perfectly to hold the diamond masonry hole saw to cut through brick when I installed the exterior vent for my new range hood.

If you need an adapter for an SDS+ hammer drill for hole saws, then this may be your ideal match. The adapter is larger than it looks in the description and is plenty heavy.The threaded section is long enough to reach well into the inside of the hole saw.

I don't see many adapters offered of this size but this one is priced reasonably in comparison to them. The fit and finish are good; smooth edges, fits my hammer drill nicely. It's for really big bits so I'd be careful how much you use it with a smaller drill. It's nice to have around for that occasional use though rather than buying a much bigger drill for a lot of money that won't get used much. I'm happy to have it. Best luck.~Cheers!
