Salisbury 3500 Series Vertical Mailboxes - Recessed Mounted - Private Access are ideal for colleges, schools, private postal centers, corporate mail centers, military bases, government agencies and many other applications. Made entirely of aluminum. Feature a durable powder coated finish available in aluminum, brass, bronze, sandstone and green. Rough opening for recessed mounted vertical mailboxes is 1-1/2" less than the unit's width, 1-1/4" less than the unit's height and equal to the unit's depth. Fits into a rough opening and are secured with mounting hardware (not included) through the back or side panels. Units include a fully integrated flanged collar which fits over the rough opening. Doors and trim are striated to resist scratching. Mailboxes are available with 3 to 7 compartments. We were forced to get a new mailbox by our postal service because they said ours was broken, even though it wasn't. We have a four unit apartment building. There are not many (any?) other options available for four mailboxes in one unit. This unit seeps rain water into it (as did our last one, which was similar) and the keys given with each box fit very poorly, and you have to fight with the key to get it to turn in the lock (or even fit into the lock). This mailbox, for nearly $500, is the exact same as our last box, which our vengeful post office forced us to buy (because I complained they were continually putting all of our neighbors' mail into our box). Not a good product, but good luck finding a different one.
