With so many similar salt boxes to choose from, it took me a while to decide which one to buy.Price was a concern for me as so many seem overpriced for what I am willing to pay.This fit the bill. It’s perfect! I love the inscribed writing. It “pretties†up my counter as I leave it out all the time.The top stays put and swings to the side for access. Removable when needed & attaches just as quick with the magnetic closure. (I did read some concerns about the fit and understanding these are made by machines so it’s never “perfectâ€. Mine seems to fit well. Humidity doesn’t effect the salt. I use Himilayan Pink Salt so there’s no added wonky ingredients)It comes with a little wooden spoon which I necessarily didn’t need but it does fit inside the box so I won’t lose it.I love the color of the wood and the grain. The finish is smooth. Price was well within my price range.I do recommend this cute little salt box if you want to perk up your counter. Highly recommend.

When baking, this is really handy and only requires one hand to open it. I love the Little spoon think I’m going to shorten the handle just a little bit because it’s a little too long close inside.

I was a little concerned that it might be big and take up a lot of counter space, but it's as small as the demi-coffee mug I've been using to hold salt.One thing, if you were planning to put something liquid in this, don't. When I was washing it by hand, I held it up, and water leaked out of the bottom seam easily. I'm hoping salt won't do that.
