We had a hard time since no hoses came with the pump. My own fault for not realizing. I was replacing an older sandpump filter. It took a little bit of time trying to use my existing hoses and connectors. This pump works awesome. I couldn't believe how fast it started moving the debris in my pool and how much easier vacuuming was with the new awesome suction. I am extremely happy with this purchase, not to mention how fast it actually shipped.

Got this for our 15 ft pool that we were not being able to get clear no matter what we did. Pump that came with it was just way too small. This pump had our pool cleared in a day. Moves a lot of water, easy to maintain. Only problem was had to wait a long time for it to come in.

It is wayyy smaller then i like expected. But thats not a bad thing i guess. instructions were straight GARABBBAGE its undetailed and literally unhelpful and if you dont know how to install or haven't worked with a pool filter before you will be completely totally LOST. If you never put a filter together before this is not the right thing for you. It works ok and stuff I guess tho.

It did include instructions that were primally basic and unreadable. This means, no direction to assemble (which it turns out is really not self explanatory) and no direction for continued use (also not intuitive). It’s greatest flaw is that it regurgitates precious (expensive) sand back into the pool (impossible to clean totally). Pump itself is strong and timer easy to use. That’s the extent of the positives.

We bought a Coleman pool and the filters you have to buy is ridiculous... This pump is definitely the best upgrade you can buy. When it came we had to buy the sand... But after that it's ran all summer without any issues. Saved enough on not having to buy filters to pay for this in one summer..

This filter works much better at keeping our pool clean than the filter that came with the pool and we are generally happy with it. However, once you've removed the cover to the strainer filter, it is difficult to get it back on without leaking. The gasket doesn't seem to fit properly.
