Due to it's shape, consturction and controlled flexibility the standard four side sanding sponge block can operate in the most awkard places. High-quality brown corundum is an extremely tough, wedge shape grain, for high speed penetration of tough materials without excessive shedding or fracturing of the grain. Great for Wood, Metal, Drywall, and Paint Hi-Performance, particularly suited well for grinding high tensile strength materials as hard woods and alloy steels.

I love these blocks for smoothing my fired ceramic bisque (04 bisque) and they also work nicely after firing, to sand down any sharp spots on ceramic. They are a nice size without being too big to hold comfortably. Have held up fantastic as well.

- Was skeptical despite the positive reviews but they’re really fabulous, better than any sponge sander I’ve used and as good as any paper. I’m partial toward the Bosch orbital sander and the Bosch sanding discs, but they can’t get into the crevices. We have a Dremmel for the nooks and more detailed areas which is super for big jobs but it’s noisy and more of a hassle for quick jobs. On these sanding blocks the grit holds up, they’re lightweight, easy to hold, they get the job done and the price is competitive. If they don’t change, I’ll be a repeat customer.

These sanding sponges have worked very well for me. They even worked better than the 3M sponges I bought locally. I only wish I could buy 6 packs or 8 packs of a particular grit.

Wet sand no problem, like a tool. Tried one out immediately, really useful, good to have when needed, & thanks for good value

I bought these to sand down my tumblers. Easy to hold great size only thing is not able to use for long time, gunk piles up on it even when I tried to clean it hard to clean to reuse for the price its ok I love that I got different grit sizes but the one I needed specifically did not last.
