I purchased a good used Sony DSC-H1 digital camera at a garage sale and needed a memory stick. I found this adapter and also a memory stick to fit it on Amazon. Together they work just fine in the Sony DSC-H1.

I have a Cyber-Shot 5.1 (Sony) camera, but I didn't have a memory stick duo adapter (nor memory stick pro duo);therefore, the camera was not useable. (I searched around town for each and without avail); at this point, I almost considered the camera as obsolete. At one more attempt, I decided a search on Amazon and instantly found a Sandisk Memory Stick Duo Adapter (also, a memory stick pro duo on Amazon) I ordered this adapter (and memory pro stick) hoping it will be a fit (and the reviews were very helpful in my decision making). The adapter (and pro stick) fitted the camera perfectly and the camera works fantastic. The price of this adaptor was very reasonable and what a deal it was - Thanks again "Amazon".

I just got the adapter, and it is the correct one for the sony memory stick pro duo that I have in my camera. However, when I tried to put the adapter into my sd card reader, the insert end is too thick, and therefore does not work at all. I just set 11 dollars on fire...

Just what I need to get my old 2005 Sony cybershot back up and running. Definitely a different paint job than was pictured but that doesn't matter to me. I had bought an old Memory Stick Pro Duo 4GB not realizing it was the wrong form factor. I got this adapter and it works perfectly. It takes photos and offloads via multi-card reader just fine.BTW thanks a lot Sony for making up such a silly format, why couldn't you do sd cards like everyone else?

Sony camera has a problem recognizing the large amount of memory. Works fine for individual pictures, but does not work at all for movies. There's a conflict between the disk format (or 8 G memory) required by the ~ 15 year old Sony Cyber-Shot camera and that offered in the memory stick. i.e. the Sandisk is not backward compatible. Ugh! Technology moves on, the camera doesn't change.

I have a older Sony Cybershot, the W505 from 2005. I couldn't find any original Memory Stick's locally and didn't want to wait for eBay to ship a card from China, though I did get a Memory Stick Duo from one of my camera friends. This adapter works perfectly if you need to convert Memory Stick Duo to the original size Memory Stick for older devices, and isn't stuck to 128MB and below. Before you buy, make sure your device does support these adapters, not all do, meaning you may have to get an original card.

The product arrived looking very different from the picture in the advertisement.Bought specifically to read M2 mobile cards also known as Memory Stick micro, as that's partly what is advertised, but the adapter is completely wrong and incompatible.Unsure whether a memory pro Duo stick works, but that's not what i purchased this adapter for.Would not recommend.
