Recently received. It was well packaged and it appears to be of good quality. I'm using it in an unusual manner on top of a Jotul cast iron heater/stove with the kettle lid removed to evaporate water for adding humidity back into my sunroom while heating the room with the stove. It's definitely slowly evaporating the water in it and making my normally irritated eyes feel better. It appears that it will be easy to clean and the silver colored model I purchased provides a perfect contrast in appearance to the black cast iron stove.

So, I love the look of this teapot and bought one that is supposedly safe to use in the stove. After the first use I noticed this top starting to deform, and after a few months of use it completely melted off. This is not safe for stove use.Also, it takes 10 minutes to boil and the body makes strange sounds (almost like glass shattering). Please don’t use this on the stove!

This teapot can be used for either tea bags or loose tea. It appears to be well-made with a very unusual design. The amount of water it can accommodate will make enough tea for 4 cups or 3 mugs. Good delivery and inexpensive
