Update: Seller reached out and offered a full refund. As the product did what I need it to do, I didn't take them up on their offer... but they won't leave you hanging if you are pickier than I, or require more out of the device than I do.Original review: A tooth in the grinder snapped off the first time I twisted it... It was empty at the time, so it wasn't because I over-stressed it. It's inexpensive enough I'm not bothering to return it, and it's still functional.I purchased this for breaking up flake (compressed into a brick, then thinly sliced) pipe tobacco, rather than grinding cannabis.I knew when ordering that it was small, so I have no complaints about that besides to note that if you're not grinding a material you use in very small quantities you might be better off with a bigger option.Starting with some Ennerdale Flake, it took me about 5 minutes to grind out a bowl full (Edit: Actually TWO) of tobacco. I had to place the tobacco into the grinder carefully, and grind in several batches, but it did produce good results.

I absolutely loved how this looks but the size is a little smaller than I’d have liked. It’s easy to use but tends to get a little sticky after using with your flower. It’s sharp enough it makes for a perfect grind every time. I love that this is hemp too! The only thing I don’t like is how it sticks when you’re turning it after using it so minus one star for that. I’ve also included pics of how small it is in comparison with a 2.5†grinder. I absolutely love the design though and the material is nice. Not a bad price for it. Recommend this for sure!

Worked great, twice. Third time shredding ephedra sinica, teeth broke off like a septuagenarian taking a straight right from a vintage Mike Tyson. Lesson learned, look for a metal shredder/grinder.

Probably the best product for the costs on amazon. It's hemp, a trustworthy material.What else is there, especially for such a low price? Anodized aluminum or acrylic plastic grinders which, if they haven't been machined with very high quality practices or materials; can chip off and leave toxic materials in your herbs.Plastic can cause endocrine disruption in our body and best to keep as little in your system as you can manage. Plus it vaporizes at low temps.The cheap aluminum can leave paint & aluminum shavings which are horrendous (I had to deal with some), if eaten add to toxicity levels in the body - especially (pertinent if you're grinding herbs for foods or medicinal edibles; you don't want to put that inside your body!Anyhow - suffice to say, I've learned from my experience and research; aim for high quality manufacturing practices company however you can - whether very trustworthy materials like hemp/wood, but also steel or anodized aluminum or any other materials, metals and/or alloys; if they do it right - there won't be chipping you're in the clear and no need to worry; just avoid the super cheap toxic stuff.This product is superior to others grinder I've had in many ways. It grinds finely and smoothly for me so far. Very fair price. You can clean high buildup friction areas with q-tip and isopropyl alcohol to make sure it keeps spinning smoothlyIf you know it's just a simple, functional, pastel hemp 2 piece with no pollen/kief tray, and if you're okay with that; solid 5/5 purchase.

The santa cruz shredder in my opinion is pretty much everything you could want in a grinder. The grinder quality is exquisite, made from a really good material that let's go of your grinder product so none gets wasted. Perfect size for when your on the go and no magnet which I'm a big fan of. Looks great comes in different colours and really light weight. Certainly recommend this product.

I have the grinder literally only 4 days and it’s broken already. It doesn’t grind very well like other reviews have said and doesn’t even have a magnetic holder so it’s basically useless. Proper annoyed I even wasted the money.

Does a good job. Gets sticky but that's normal for ANY grinder.
