My first one of these did arrive with a broken piece inside however I did the return process through Amazon and had a new one at my house in three days.This works really well, it was so simple to figure out and i was impressed with how much water was at the bottom after it was done spinning - especially from my lettuce.Would absolutely recommend

First things first: This does a very nice job of spinning water off of lettuce, and that's its primary job, so thumbs up. A couple small quibbles. First, it's a little smaller than most spinners I've run across, and in practice that creates two issues. First, you can only cram so much lettuce into it. Second, if you put in enough lettuce to serve four people, there's not a lot of room for little crumblies that might be sticking to the lettuce to float away. So I end up soaking the lettuce, then grabbing it up by hand and removing it from the water, then emptying the water, then wash, rinse and repeat. A little larger bowl would make it easier. Also, a pouring spout would help a lot. I won't dock it for that, since it was clear there wasn't one of those, but I'll mention it in case the manufacturer is interested in redesign for its next version of this. Finally, the clip that holds the top to the basket is a little awkward to use -- which is to say it requires more attention that I've had to give any other spinner we've had. That said, once it clips down and holds, it keeps the basket nicely in place, so you don't have the kinds of false starts with spinning that you sometimes get with other spinners. So, all in all, I'm glad to have it, and look forward to many salads with it!Three-month update: After a little less than three months of normal wear and tear, the hard plastic (I'm guessing it's plastic, but perhaps it's something else) outer bowl began to crack. So, I've had to replace it. That's about three or four years before I would have expected it to need replacing. As another reviewer observes, the outer bowl is fairly brittle, which helps with getting the inner basket seated, I guess, but also introduces the possibility of cracking.

This is a good salad spinner and has held up for a couple of months of regular use. Easy to clean and store. Happy with it so far.

Santozz Rotary Salad Spinner arrived packaged well and without damage. The entire set is well made with quality materials. It's easy to use and clean. Instead of a pull handle that spins automatically you control the speed of spinning with the rotary handle on top. It does a great job with lettuce, especially when done in smaller batches. It looks nice and works well.

I love this because my salads aren't watery anymore. I used to hate having soggy lettuce, but I didn’t have the patience to let the lettuce air dry. This is an excellent solution to a simple problem. It works well and is easy to wash and store.

My old salad spinner has seen better days -- the non-slip ring on the bottom is getting moldy and the top with the spinning mechanism doesn't come apart, so I've always wondered what's going on inside and if it's really clean in there or not. So I was eager to get a new salad spinner to replace it. I like that you can take this one apart completely so you can make sure there is no water trapped in the spinning mechanism. This is, for me, the best feature of this spinner. There is no non-slip ring on the bottom, but I can always put the bowl on one of those silicone potholders/trivets to keep it steady -- and I no longer have to worry about mold growing at the ring. The plastic does seem kind of brittle, though, so I hope the parts hold up well to disassembly and reassembly. The latch to keep the lid closed for spinning is a little tricky until you get the hang of it. The bowl is a bit on the small side -- it's not going to fit large leaves of lettuce very well and it's not going to hold a full head of lettuce unless it's a small butter lettuce or a Little Gem. Despite these small quibbles, it spins very well and I really like being able to see that my salad spinner is truly clean.
