I was having serious mainline clog situations and wanted to use this to determine where the clog actually existed. I couldn’t get the camera to follow the main line through the cleanout at the far end of the house without coming up into one of the toilets. So I went to the other end of the house, and pulled the toilet from there and ran the camera down the piping all the way to the cleanout.What I was able to determine was the cast iron piping had so much rust and debris buildup, that a roto-rooter device or a water-jet device was going to be needed. I ordered a water jet from Amazon, and after completing a sewer jetting operation, I ran the camera again and found the piping to be a lot cleaner.Plumbers around here charge $600 to run a camera down the piping, and another $450 for root-rooting, and $450-$600 for sewer jetting. I paid $300 for this camera and another $50 for a sewer jetting system that connects to my pressure washer. They have already paid for themselves several times over and will be available for future use.The reason for only 4 stars is that the camera’s cable is not stiff enough to make more than one or two bends in a 4†pipe (I had three 90° bends) without hanging up in the piping. Otherwise, I’m very happy with this camera system.

We've had problems with tree roots in our sewer line. I wanted to be able to assess the extent of the problem. This camera worked flawlessly. Clear picture, and easy to thread far down the line. Used it while hydro jetting the roots, I was able to monitor the results and precisely position the jet.Very happy with this purchase. Air duct inspection coming next...One note there is a 'Power' button on the front of the panel, but there is also a small on/off switch at the bottom. I forgot about that and thought it was not powering on. User error. Emailed Sanyipace support and got a prompt response, a good sign if there ever is a real issue down the road.

I would not buy this item. I used it on maybe three or four jobs and then it stopped working. I try to charge it. It came back on then the battery light would go from full to Red back to full. The buttons were being finicky, it's just not a quality camera. It's a great price point but it's probably for one or two time use as other reviewers have said the value for the money is not there

The start up process was easy and quick. The video is exceptionally clear and I was able to find the problem in the sewer pipe within minutes. The blockage was difficult to remove and I used the video repeatedly to determine if I was making progress. Well worth the investment.

Very clear images, easy to push thru even 2 inch lines. Great product at such a low price. I do recommend absolutely !!

Used this camera for a couple of hours today to trace the French drains around my dwelling. Worked flawlessly and the picture colour and clarity was fantastic. I was impressed with the quality and fitment of the attachments and was impressed with the lightweight of the unit, very easy to carry around. This is the only sewer / drain camera I have used so I couldn’t compare it with any other products but I would recommend this item to anyone.

Really allows me to see well in pipes or inside walls.!Wish it a way to keep the visual plane horizontal always… But for the price it’s helped me a ton.!Nice bright light settings on the camera head.!Takes really good photos and videos.!

The unit would not turn on after I charged it the first time, have to return it, but will be a couple of weeks before I get my money back, and needed to use it this weekend. Quite disappointed.Edit: ordered a second one before I got my refund since I needed it badly, and it too was dead on arrival. Do not buy this!!
