Fixing up an old Maestro for my grandson to learn cords on. The guitar is black so these black pegs look great. I filed a taper on slot side and they function properly. I will purchase again to fix an elderly Harmony.

Every looked great. I'm not positive but the diameter of the bridge pins may be smaller than what you'd expect a presentation pins to be. They would slip a little at first. Though this could have also been caused by the fact that they are perfectly polished top to bottom. Hard to fault them for that. Or anything really at this price. Hmmm. I think next string change I'll lightly scuff everything below the head of the pin.

Not as advertised. Sure they look nicer than the plastic pins that came with my guitar, but these are certainly not ebony, they feel and sound exactly the same as OEM plastic pins.

Guitar pins did not fit all the way, they are still useable but are too big. The guitar saddle was fine nothing wrong with with it that I have noticed.

Was just brown plastic, didn't even look like rosewood, just solid brown plastic.

I bought this for the bridge pins. They are nice bone pins with real abalone dots and the usual string grooves. What surprised me was the bridge saddle. It is bone too, and the top is nicely cut for proper intonation. It is 7/64" thick, so it can be sanded down for a precise fit in a 3/32" slot. I'm going to sand it a bit so it doesn't look so machine cut and use it on the parlor guitar I'm building. The nut is good quality too, but a bit under 1.75", which means I can't use it on this guitar. They even threw in a half sheet each of 600 grit and 2000 grit sandpaper. Far better than buying from StewMac.
