I had a disk that was failing. I discovered this nifty adapter and I cloned the old disk to the new disk. Then I just replace the old disk with the new disk and booted the computer. It has been working great for several weeks. This adapter made it an easy process.

Used this to trasnfer some data off a handfull of different 3.5 and 2.5" spinning disks that had been removed from various machines. Did a great job with no issues, handy tool to have around.

Power adapter literally stopped working after less than 8 hours of use. Thankfully I have a handful of 12v 2Ah power adapters so it wasn't a big deal. When I open the adapter that came with this up to see what failed, I will update this.Other than the rinky-dink power adapter, the SATA-to-USB adapter has been working well.
