The bearing is as described in the picture on Amazon.perfectly sealed bearings to keep the dirt out. I've used these bearings on my yerf dog go cart and they are perfect on the 1 " drive shaft. Great bearings for the price ðŸ‘

A self-aligning journal bearing would be best for this installation which suffers severe impact loading. Bearings with a grease groove survive better. This insert fits the cast housing used for mounting, so it's easy to replace when this one gets beat to death.

I'm giving it 4 stars for now. I noticed the seal spinning at a different speed than the rest and some grease on the lip. I will see how it lasts. The factory one was $25 but they want $26 for shipping so I tried this.Stringy chips can wrap around the front of the drum and cause it to overheat. So keeping it clean should prolong bearing life.
