Very strong water containers they do have a slight Oder inside but I will clean them with warm water and some soap.

These are definitely where you want to put your money. They are thick plastic made in Canada not China. They will not crack unless you are really trying. They are resistant to UV and made of HDPE so they will not leech plastic into your water.When they arrived, they need to be cleaned out because they smell like plastic (to be expected), just fill with hot water some baking soda and bleach and rinse.To store water long term, add 1 teaspoon of bleach to each 5 gallon container.

These were the perfect size for bringing with you while boondocking. Provides a little extra water when needed. Being 5 gallons they are easy enough to handle.

I bought 4 cans and the vent caps do not tighten down. They leak water out of the vent when riding down the road to my campsite. Nice sturdy can and nice spout but unfortunately the vent caps leak.

Well made, sturdy, doesn't leak. I gave it 4 stars because it is very difficult to clean. The opening is small and there is no way to maneuver a brush to clean inside. As long as you keep up with cleaning with dish washing liquid and bleach you should be ok. I use mine to store water for emergency use. I regret not buying the Scepter military version. It has a large opening.
