Easy to install and use. Not sure if they were completely necessary, but better safe than sorry.

I like the idea and the execution of this product. The one down side is that the little o-rings are pretty fragile and ended up breaking after getting squished. The threaded pieces are machined to fit into the valve stem hole in the rim to fill up the gap and center the presta valve in the schrader valve hole.I ended up using the standard presta valve nuts as a lock not on top of these adapters. That is probably not necessary but it seemed to be worth doing to me.I found that I didn't need the little wrench as I was able to tighten the nuts by hand easier than using the wrench, but there may be use cases where the wrench is needed so it is good that it is included.

This product did allow me to use a Presta valve tube I had on a Schrader valve rim. They just don't tighten enough and a slight gap remains where the valve enters the rim. There are probably better ones available.

Its probably not a deal killer to change from Schrader tubes to Presta tubes, with the small gaps in the rim, but since you are tightening down Presta valves down against the rim anyway, why not fill that tiny gap around each stem so you don't have to worry about it.These come with little gaskets and a tiny wrench that I just zip tied up under the saddle of the bike on the off chance I'll have to take them off during a rideGreat little products, highly recommended

There’s not much to these … you slide these over your thin Presta valve and they seat into to hole where a wider Schrader nozzle would stick out. They keep the Presta nozzle from sliding around and possibly pinching or tearing. There are plastic ones available, too, but I figured the extra durability offered by the aluminum was worth the small premium.

worked great the small rim fit perfectly in the valve stem hole to keep the valve stem centered

These take up a lot of the stem threads, and do not go as far into rim hole as far as plastic inserts. I would say they go into hole about 1/2 as far. Also, since my rim is crowned in the hole area, these do not sit flush. The plastic inserts leave more threads for your pump to grab onto, and being malleable, sit flush in hole.TIP...for install of plastic inserts, put them in FIRST, before you push the stem through.

It's rather pricey but it does the job well.I'm happy with it. The presta valve does not move whatsoever.
