Cons: had to buy a new base mounting plate as it didn't fit the stock one it came with.Pros: it's reliable. Durable. Once mounted it has stayed in place during practice.

Used it as a easy spacer for modifying some mags. Didn't want to stay on the optics through normal use though

Went on easy, I run my dot occluded when I’m training. This works way better than using painters tape. Stays put when being used.

This cover is made from a hard plastic that doesn’t fit the optic well enough to stay in place during use. Also the plastic is not flexible enough to easily allow for depressing the buttons on the optic to make adjustments. Had it been made from a more supple silicon with a little stretch to be placed on the optic, it would have been much better. This plastic shroud doesn’t fit well enough to stay in place.

I was looking for a dust cover for my 507C and came across this! Ordered and it arrived pretty quick. I realized like that this was much better than the other covers I found online. This cover stays and doesn’t have to be taken off like the other covers. This has an opening for the lens. Also it has a removable lens cover for red dot training. I don’t have to tape up my lens anymore for training. What a great find, highly recommend.

Not bad to install. Unfortunately the lens cap disappeared (was lost) within 3 minutes. Also the whole cover has to be removed to install lens cover. The cover is small and obviously easy to misplace. Too bad there was not an easy way to store it.
