The spring-loaded flip-up mechanism pops open effortlessly when needed and clicks shut when closed. Made of durable rubber and polymer materials, they wont damage the finish of your rifle scope while shielding the lenses from the harsh elements.

For optimum fit, carefully measure the OUTSIDE DIAMETER of both your rifle scope’s eyepiece and objective bell. IMPORTANT: Sizing is not based on the objective lens size of your scope - a 3-9x40mm scope will not fit with a 40mm sized lens cover. For the correct fitting lens cover, you must physically measure the outside diameter of your scope eyepiece and objective.

Purchased these caps for a 3x9x40 Vortex Copperhead scope. I measured my scopes outside diameters and bought the appropriate sizes. They fit nice and snug and the flip up caps work as described. I'm very pleased with the quality, given the price point.

These scope caps fit the eyepiece better than the other ones. The rubber grips more surface of the eyepiece and helps prevent the ocular adjustment from moving. Very snug fit on both ends.

The caps are quality built and operate fine but are very tight for installation.The rubber portion is quite long, longer than necessary in my opinion.I used a caliper for sizing my order but the caps seem to run a little small. I got them installed by turning the rubber portion inside out and holding the cap firmly against the scope and rolling the rubber onto the scope. Once on , forget quick removal for eyepiece adjustment.Overall, these caps are a good value for the price but the rubber portion could be shorter, similar to flip-caps caps typically supplied for scopes from the manufacturer.
