I finally decided to buy a mirror visor and I'm so glad I did. This thing looks so cool it is unreal. The ruby/gold is gorgeous in the light as well. The tint is a great middle ground, it's not as dark as the tinted lens this helmet comes with, but is definitely an improvement over a standard clear lens.Fit and finish are superb, exactly the same as the visors it came with. It still has that extra final click at full close that seals perfectly. It is no more noisy than the other visors.I will say that as far as fogging goes, it's... Meh. I usually have my visor popped open at least a small amount when I am riding slowly or stopped, which is good, because with the visor closed it doesn't take long to start fogging at a stop.

After finding a helmet that matches my bike perfectly, I couldn't resist also picking up the gold visor to really tie the look together. The visor took a little more effort than I expected to install, but not enough to remove any stars. It wasn't packaged quite as nice as the included visors with the helmet, but came without scratches or damage.In direct sunlight the visor blocks enough sun to still make my ride safe, and it's also not overly dark like a black tinted visor.Overall, very pleased with my purchase!

So far, very impressed with the blue mirrored visor for the Covert FX. I have not ridden with it, but I like that it’ll closely match the blue on my bike. I mentioned in my review of the helmet itself, that my clear visor came damaged in the box. So I’m excited that I now have another visor to use other than the tinted one.I do wish the blue mirrored visor had more tinting while looking out of the helmet. Not a big issue since I ride with sunglasses anyways. I also wish for $65, that Scorpio would throw in a visor cover/sleeve to help protect the visor that’s not being used.

Got this to replace the stock tinted visor and it's working great! Keeps the sun out just fine, and seems to be a lot easier to see in darker conditions with it when riding at night.HOWEVER: this product CLAIMED to be pinlock insert ready, and their official website claiming it is links to this product. However, there are NOT any pinlock pins on the inside. Nor were there any pins you could install sent with the product. Will probably need to refund this and get a different shield.

Product claims to be ready for pin-lock. However there are not actually any holes or screws provided with visor.

I was hesitant at first to order the ruby, but it looks amazing. It's a nice in between dark tint and clear, it knocks the sun glare and is still light enough I can see decently when it gets dark!

Was expecting it to look silver, looks more like a light tint. Tinting is too light to be terribly effective on sunny days. Scratches very easily. Might be worth buying if it was on sale for $15-20.
