This stuff is one of the best inventions 3M has ever made, along with Post-It notes. In the industrial version, it's called Dual Lock, and comes in three different strengths/densities (170, 250, 400); this is the 250 version. There is also a "low profile" version, but this is the normal profile stuff. The three densities are designed to work with each other in various combinations to give you the particular combination or strength/releasability that suits you application best, but 3M does not recommend 170/170 (too weak) or 400/400 (too dense), so you can select 170/250 (lightest strength), 170/400, 250/250 (medium strength), or 250/400 (strongest).If you need to affix something to a surface semi-permanently, this stuff is absolutely amazing, and it is the only thing I will use to build my effects pedalboards for electric guitar and bass guitar. 250/250 holds so strongly that with only a few square inches of bonding, you actually need to get a small prybar to get it to release (unless you use very small pieces of it), and the adhesive holds with incredible tenacity, yet still removes cleanly from painted metal surfaces when you need to remove it. Perhaps even more importantly, the bond between the two sides is solid, unlike hook and loop fasteners, which have a bit of give to them, so that the mated surfaces do not move once joined. For a working musician, these properties make it ideal--it hold pedals onto a pedalboard strongly enough to survive transport, the adhesive removes without residue when you want to sell a pedal, and the pedals don't move or "squish" when you step on them. And it's black with a clear adhesive, so it looks good on stage!I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

I have been using this for ever, best around, so strong and holds great. This is not a Velcro type product but a fastener "Hook" and "Hook" type ( used similar as it's used to attach two items). So glad Amazon makes it available, it was getting hard to find by me. No wonder it's an AMAZON's CHOICE.

I could not find these anywhere and luckily found them on Amazon. I use these to put a new light in the hood of my aquarium and it stayed for years--one side is still on the hood although the light burnt out. I had a couple left but they were old and the adhesive must have not worked well because when I put the replacement light in--it fell. I have used these in an area over water where they get a lot of condensation for years and the adhesive has held well, so think this new batch should work. These are stiff plastic, not the lighter kind of velcro, and are very useful to attach things especially in high use situations or where they are going to get wet.

I bought these because I wanted to attach a hook part of "hook and loop"/Velcro strips to a caddy that I wanted to secure to the carpet in my vehicle. While this worked ok for that purpose, it's more like "hook and hook" fastener. Don't expect this to work with other Velcro things you might have. It works well with its own parts, however, and the adhesive back has held up well in the crazy summer heat in my vehicle.

No es completamente transparente, es mas bien opaco pero queda mucho mejor que cualquier otro color, hace un poco de espacio entre superficies porque el pegamento es grueso pero pega firmemente, lo unico malo es que solo vienen dos pares de tiras, yo he tenido que comprar dos paquetes, pero lo recomiendo.

I've used 3M DualLock fasteners for years to mount A/V and electronic equipment to TVs and in wall boxes.The 3M DualLock holds tighter and stronger than fabric style velcro and the adhesive is heat resistant so it doesn't let go when the components heat up.Highly recommended for applications where regular velcro is not strong enough or where heat my affect the adhesive.So far in my experience Amazon has the best price for these strips.

Don't waste your time with the Velcro brand fasteners if you're using for outdoor use. This is the product to go with. No issues with application and has held strong since day one. The Velcro brand product I purchased failed as soon as it rained. This is truly water proof and is as described.
