This is by far the best tape hand dispenser. I work as a packer in a moving company, so a use this tape machine every single day from Monday to Friday and I do around 50 boxes every day. It's really easy to use, is not heavy on your hand, is very sturdy and it awesome. I rod a review saying that this tape machine was clumsy, but not at all. I even been giving like 5 of this away because my team have seen how easy is to use. And one the best parts is that you pay less than 10$. At first I bough another scotch tape gun, exactly like this one but I another color, and it cost me 36$ plus tax, so image when a saw this beautiful tape machine in color red which is attractive and cost me way less money than the first one. You really won't find another of this tape machines that are that good.

When I left Japan more than 10 years ago I found a great packing tape dispenser that I still have to this day. Since then I have purchased several tape dispensers trying to find one that works as well to no avail until this one. The one from Japan was a nice thick sturdy piece with a great cutting tool. Although this one may not be as thick/sturdy overall it is the closest I have found and a really good value (I have spent $30 on one of the mishaps I purchased in the past).When I purchased this I also purchased the "LittleTiger Metal 2" Packaging Adhesive Tape Cutter, Roll Dispenser " so I could compare the two. After just one use I can tell you this has a much better cutting tool & seems easier to handle overall.

One of my family members made off with my previous one of these, so I immediately ordered a replacement. Compact, effective for stretching tape and cutting it. Best tape dispenser I have ever used.

This is hands-down-the best tape gun I've owned, and I've owned and heavily used all of the major types. First, the simple mechanism of the brake works intuitively and helps you calibrate the unspooling, which really cuts down on problems. Second, the clips that hold the tape in place strike a good balance between free running the tape and not letting it fall back on itself. (This will still happen, as it does with any tape gun - but less often than other models I've used.) Third, the spool itself is rock solid. Fourth, while not made out of metal, this has a well thought out construction that minimizes breakable, moving parts. Fifth and last, the price is very good. Great product - offered at a very reasonable price, especially if you buy it in a combo pack with tape. I understand there's a metal version for more money - I bet that's great too.

Works well and not bulky like the metal tape guns. I carry this one with me for taping up boxes and if I lose it, I can replace it easily.

Well, this tape dispenser by Scotch really couldn't be any easier to operate. And yes, it is completely made of plastic (aside from the row of cutting teeth). I think that will make this tape dispenser last longer than the big giant common ones though. That, and because this tape dispenser doesn't really have any moving parts on it.I would definitely recommend Scotch's tape dispenser to anyone who uses a lot of packing tape, or any other tape that requires a tape dispenser of this size. Because I use a lot of packing tape and this tape dispenser has always worked well for me. The only thing missing that I wish this tape dispenser DID have, is the ability to replace the serrated cutting teeth.

the design allows me to control the tension of the tape by pinching the roll between heel of palm and fingers, and cut at the desired place. this unit preforms the same function as more expensive models of similar design and is sturdy enough for commercial use. did not come with tape.

The 3m tape dispenser is the best. The other popular type of dispenser (Holds roll of tape above the hand) works well -IF- you have LOTS of experience using one. Otherwise, it's awkward, the cutting blade is usually very difficult to get a clean cut with and it's heavy and doesn't feel "balanced". The 3m dispenser is so easy to control tape feed, apply "stretch" pressure while applying tape and the cutting blade doesn't require any fancy wrist pressure moves to slice the tape. I have years of packaging shipping boxes and can't believe that the world hasn't converted to using the 3m brand design of tape dispenser!

I have brought 6 of these & can not fault them. Very easy to use much better than traditional tape m/c's. super service from seller as I'm in the U.K. Postage was very responsible as well.

This is a genuinely helpful device. It makes applying tape to moving boxes much easier, it's inexpensive and should last pretty much forever. Its only drawback is that, due to the design of the tape guard, it does occasionally let the cut end of the tape slide back and stick to the roll. I think the guard can be easily modified, however, just haven't tried it yet. Overall, very satisfied.
