We use this tape in our company constantly. Couldn’t live without it. Don’t waste your money on off brands.

We've been doing a massive repainting project using an airless sprayer. This tape has been amazing for everything from masking paper and plastic to covering smaller hardware. Even though we apply it to walls and trim, we've had VERY little damage upon removal, and it has only been on trim sides. And is limited to a few millimeters wide to under an inch in length. Most likely, that's due to poor primer coverage since we're doing latex on oil trim. With it all being white I very likely missed a spot or went too light. It will take no more than 10 minutes of time to touch up all damaged spots in the 4,060 sq ft home. We're repainting all trim, doors, ceilings, shutter, and walls.5 packs of this one for masking, and used many packs of thinner tape for holding paper up, joining seams, etc. That's just what we picked up on Amazon. We picked up more at Home Depot while buying paint.Considering this is a fraction of the cost of frog tape, I love it.We also had no noticeable bleed issues. The trick is to press it firmly along the wall. Walls to textured ceilings are another matter when it comes to any tape and bleeds.. but you can run a #2 Phillips along the corners to help knock down any texture for a cleaner mask. It won't be noticeable on the finished job. Must faster and cleaner than running a bead of caulk first. Not a pro, just a DIYer. On a side note, many reviews speak to issues getting it off the roll. I've had no issues with breaking on any roll. I bite my nails to nothing, so I have to use my knife to get it off the roll initially (clean peel, not cut into it).. as well as when it gets passed back on the roll. I like to rip long strips and stick the top to a wall so I can just tear smaller pieces as needed; when I'm not doing a full run in a room on trim.

I am a preschool teacher which means I hang tons of decorations and children's artwork on my classroom walls. I also am not allowed to use staples in my classroom per Maryland State regulation but am required to use bulletin boards. So I must use a ton of tape to cover my bulletin boards with paper, teaching materials and, again, children's artwork. This tape is the best that I have found. It holds even the heaviest bulletin boards up for over a month, probably even longer (provided you use enough tape). These six rolls last me about six months, so about a roll a month, and like I said- I use a lot of tape. The price is excellent. If I was to buy these rolls individually I would only be able to buy 4 or 5 for this price.Lastly, it comes off of surfaces cleanly. Walls, bulletin boards, laminate, tables- solid things. It will tear paper, however. If I need to use it to hang up children's artwork I put a protective piece of tape on the paper before using a rolled piece to attach it to the wall. This tape is fantastic. It has made my teaching life infinitely easier.

This is Scotch make so it is relatively strong, not tearing when you are separating it from the spool. Did not need 6 of them, but that is how it is packaged, so I am supplied for a long time :)
