Very functional and sturdy rod holders! But they do not accommodate smaller rods. Be aware that if your rod handle isn’t long enough to reach the bottom they will fall out. I place a Velcro strap or zip tie near the bottom to support the bottom of the rod (when using shorter rods) and it fixes the problem.

The rod holder was delivered on time. It's not fancy but it does the job. Very sturdy and easy to install. I installed it on my kayak. Let the fishing begin.

It's not fancy, but it's heavy duty and is fit and finished well. Doesn't scratch my rod and is easy to use... scotty is the best.....

Researched options for kayak mount, and Scotty seemed best option, for mount size and function. The GOOD: strong, adjustable, looks. The BAD: no instructions, no hardware, very stiff fit. Luckily I had some spare bolts, so used on two kayaks. Caught two fish first time out. Highly recommend.

The good part, I have been using various kayak fishing gear for fourteen years. Long ago I choose Scotty products as they were good, strong and easy to set up. These rod holders are great.Okay, the not-so-good part, My latest order arrived today, two of these, but one was missing the mount. The bag looked like it hadn't been sealed very securely. I don't need the mount so it's all good. In fact I can mail you the three others as to not waste them. Just wanted to let you know so you can avoid it for others.

I was leery of buying a plastic rod holder. I should’ve known a Scotty product would be worthy of its name. The plastic is super thick and strong. Best of all, I don’t need to worry so much about this thing rusting like my previous clamp-on rod holders. I have no fear about trolling with this thing.

Super quality. Better than more expensive holders. No mounting screws but that can be found at any hardware store. Strong enough to troll deep lures on the kayak.
