Your cart is empty.After years of using the standard rod tube on the YakAttack BlackPak, we knew it was time to add our YakAttack flair and design a product that was worthy of the YakAttack name. New for 2022 and launching along with the BlackPak Pro comes the introduction of the all-new TetherTube. The TetherTube was modeled after our popular AR Tube Rod Holder and works flawlessly with spinning and casting rods. The angled lead-in at the top of the TetherTube makes it a breeze to insert your rods and helps lock in your casting and spinning reels keeping them aligned and ready. For added security, the integrated but easily removable hook and tether systems ensure your rods stay put if things go wrong. Caged attachment points on both sides of the tube offer multiple hook points, and the oversized hook design is sized to attach directly to the shaft of your fishing rod if desired. The Tether Tube is compatible with the BlackPak Pro but will not work with the classic BlackPak. Made from marine grade polymers, the Tether Tube is built to last and comes with our Built for Life Guarantee. The included hardware kit allows for installs on the BlackPak Pro or applications where a nut and washer are needed.

Great product, bought it to add more rods to my crate. First time I bought these they did not come with the hardware (screws), little of an inconvenience but just ran down to the hardware store and got some, no big deal. This new set that came in did arrive with the hardware taped inside the tube. Besides that, cool and great product!

Another great yakattack product. These are the 8th rod holders I’ve bought and used from yakattack. I have them on my blackpak pro. They have a bungee to secure your rods in place. If you have ever lost a nice rod and reel while saltwater fishing you will appreciate these rod holders. I highly recommend them. High quality will last forever.

Bought the YA large crate , comes with 6 of these. I added a 7th and run 3 on back, 2 on each side for total of 7. The tether is retractable which is very important to keep floppy lines from swaying like you get from those twisted solid spring tethers. This accepts both spincast and baitcast equally well if you mount them high enough. A couple of notes to yakers- angling the tube stern leaning is not possible without distorting holes. Also, if you run 3 tubes on side by side you will lose ability to mount crate handle on side. The center mount takes away the handles natural center point. So a max of two per side with the handle in the center. That little handle has a slot that I use to secure with flat tie down. Also if mounting at the top screw levels, watch for the hinges and swing of top hatch. Interference is a possibility. The sides of these tubes have a strong rail to tie down with bungees.All in all, a terrific system to use with the Y.Atack crate system. This is not a stand alone rod tube for use other than Yak Attack.Tight lines,The Col.

Rod holder itself is perfect and will last forever. But missing hardware and unfortunately it’s a odd size screw and thread

Good solid rod holder for my kayak. Install directions could have been a bit clearer for bungee cord attachment
