Step 1
- When using the screen separator on an iPhone, please make sure that the two Pentalobe screws at the bottom of the iPhone have been removed.
- Place one of the suction cups at the top of the screen and one at the back of the iPhone.
Step 2
- Gently put force on the handle. The harder you puch, the more force will be applied on the suction cups, pulling the Screen loose fron the clips on the back case of the iPhone.
Step 3
Remove the screen separator.
Congratulations! You have now succesfully removed your iPhone screen.

Both the suction cup and the included knife tool helped quite a bit in changing my screen. Is it a ling lasting, pro grade tool? No!! Did it cheaply do the job I needed? Yes!Took about 5 mins took get the screen off versus 45 mins of no luck with a regular suction cup tool.

Bought this double-suction clamp to open up my iPhone 8 Plus to change the battery. The screen was really like solidly stuck on the iphone and the rinky dinky little suction cup that came with the new battery would not do the job (me thinks that's because of the higher water resistance requiring the screen to be really sealed tight). Therefore needed this double-suction clamp. Instructions say to use clamp at the bottom end of the iphone by the home button -- BUT it was better for me to use it from the left side of the phone. It just worked better that way for me. The clamp also fortunately came with a metal spudger blade tool to help separate and open up the screen. Double-suction clamp plus metal spudger tool was worth the cost paid. The clamp looks big and large yet it is easy and comfortable to use. It works. Therefore able to open up the iphone to change the battery. Recommend you consider this for your iphone repair kit. Thanks Amazon!

These tools made it simple to open my iPhone to replace the battery. I used a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive, then used the opening pliers to lightly pull on the screen while I used the spudger to pry between the edge of the screen and the case. Light pressure on the pliers is all that is needed, and carefully work your way around the screen with the pry tool until the screen is fully detached.

The screen separator has great suction, and it was easy to separate the screen from the body with this. The other tools are just so-so. But the kit got the job done.

I bought this to remove a tempered glass screen protector that didn't fit correctly, so I could return it. Kind of a pain that I had to buy something so I could return something that wasn't as advertised, but that has nothing to do with this product. This product worked great, and easily removed the screen protector.

I needed a tool to help me remove a iPad tablet screen and didn't want to spend the money for something I was only going to use once. This was adequate, although the suction cups didn't stay stuck. And to remove the screen slowly, wasn't an option. I notice that other products have a method that allows you to slow apply pressure to pull the screen up, without cracking the screen. The iPad I was working on, had a cracked screen already so I didn't care, but it did cause the screen to break more. I don't think I would use this on a GOOD screen, I would purchase a different product. Thankfully, I do NOT make these repairs at all, so just to help my friend out, it was perfect!

I've used similar opening tools in the past but this one has a more comfortable handle which gives very good control.

I’ve changed a couple of screen and usually opening the phone is the hardest part especially on iPhone 12s and newer but this makes its sooo much easier 10/10 for practically
