This table was exactly what I needed for small stained glass painting projects. Building the table was very straight forward and I did it by myself in about 30 or 40 minutes with no problems. I didn't think I was going to like the plastic side trays but I actually love them. It's nice to have a place to stand brushes up as I go back and forth between them, and my tool caddy isn't taking up space on my work surface.I also purchased the support bars (#10074) so that I could place one of my light pads underneath. The bars fit perfectly and I'm including two photos taken from below to show how they support a light pad. I was able to cram as second, very thin light pad above the first one, just to illuminate my paint pallet- but it's not optimal for most other uses because the table frame cuts through the middle of that space as seen in one of the other photos I loaded up. I had to take the table top off to install the bars because they arrived a few days later but it wasn't a big deal. I would recommend that if you think you'll be adding the support bars later, don't throw away the allen wrench that comes in the box with the desk. You'll need it to disassemble and re-assemble the desk top. If you do, it's a 5/32 size. I guess you can figure out how I know this and why I think it's important to not discard it... Also- related to the support bars for your light pad, you should know that the bars can only be installed on the left side of this table because there are no holes pre-drilled in the frame on the right side. That's fine if you're right-handed like me, but if you're left-handed and use your light pad a lot, you'd probably feel confined to the left side of the desk and your left elbow will likely be laying across the plastic caddy- and perhaps even off the side of the table. I suppose new holes can be drilled on the right side, but I would be frustrated if I had to drill holes just to accommodate my left handed-ness.For seating, I think something that swivels, can be raised/lowered, has an adjustable foot rest and has smooth casters would work best for a table like this, which has so many heights and positions. The table is stable enough when it's low and flat but it's not the kind of table you want to lean hard on to move your chair if your feet can't reach the floor easily or if you need to twist around. After trying different chairs I had around the house, I ended up buying a big cushy backless rolling stool like the ones found in a doctor's exam room. It can go up or down, has an adjustable footrest and rolls. I LOVE it. It works for any table position and is very comfortable. Just a recommendation.Lastly- because the surface is glass, you might have to come up with a pleasing system of cord storage. I have 5 cords leading to my table- my lamp, 2 light pads, my computer power cord, my phone charging cord and a fan that directs the dust away from the work area. I ended up purchasing the Cable Management Box Organizer by Melca, here on Amazon. I put my power strip inside and plugged everything in, wrapped the excess cordage up, put them in and closed the top. I ran the cords out of the slot in the box to the places they needed to be. It's a good, neat system and the cords don't distract me while I'm working and look through the table.I hope this is helpful. I'm happy to answer questions.

I'm an illustrator and Certified Zentangle Teacher so having this table was a necessity. Beautiful blue glass set within the perfectly sized drafting table for my special drawing corner. I'm using an adjustable stool so I can sit or stand with or without the stool when creating. Though the holes in the side trays are tool small to hold my professional drawing pens (Sakura Micron) I am still able to lay the pens down and stand my pencils instead. This is a wonderful table. I like its smaller size while still being able to do larger pieces without too much trouble. The pencil lip can be up or down for convenience. My only complaint is the plastic handle used to tighten the table in the up position. It feels like it will not withstand the test of time. If it doesn't, I'll return to update my review. For now, I love my Christmas present.

Happy with the table though I would not use this professionally. The glass top and supported framework are of different heights. Unfortunately the frame is slightly higher sitting a bit above the glass. If not careful a square will ride on the frame. There is no means for easily leveling graph paper. One screw was galled. The frame is a bit wobbly but workable. The table is attractive adding a nice clean and stylish look to any room. The table's assembly is straightforward. No video is needed. I had it done an less than 45 minutes with limited instructional reference and dealing with the bad screw. I do not understand the complaints of others. How do these people make it through a day if putting together a table is a challenge? On a final note. Do not lift the glass top by it's anchors. They do not penetrate the top and thus are likely secured with an adhesive. However strong chemical bonds can fail.

I love my art table! It took me about 2-3 hours to unpack and assemble. The instructions are vague with slightly confusing diagrams. I tried to take photos of the step by step process. The first pic is step 1 & 2. I would recommend attaching the rear frame to the legs first before attaching the tilt brackets. This helps stabilize the legs making it easier to put the brackets on. The following pictures are the next steps. I was able to put most of the table together by myself, but needed help putting the glass onto the frame as it was too heavy for me. It was a fun process and I have begun organizing my little compartments. It is good quality without being too heavy to adjust or move around. I'm a happy artist!!!

So well engineered and for a great price! The designers really did think of everything to make this not only a full functioning art or architect’s desk or for use as a computer desk, but it is very versatile and all functions can be used standing up or sitting down. It is modern in design with the glass feature and fits well in a small space. Beautiful and functional all for under $200.00. To keep with the modern look, I did remove the art trays because we couldn’t tighten them enough so that they wouldn’t come off when we adjusted the desk heights. But, that isn’t an issue when you can use an art caddy. Definitely worth it! Note, it is a bit heavy when you add the glass, so it is best that you put together in the room it will stay or you should move it in position in the room before you add the glass..enjoy your new addition :)

Perfect fit, everything aligns well. Took an hour and half to assemble everything. Glass was well packed. Arrived without any damages. Worth the price.

This studio design and drafting table is nice. The assembly was simple and the quality seems to be good. However, for a 6 foot tall person when the table is adjusted to be in a standing position it is a little short. I was able to correct this by buying M8 casters and replace the level feet with them bringing the table up 2 1/2 to 3 inches. Overall it is a good product would recommend it for people in the market for a drafting table.

This is both beautiful and functional. My studio has a traditional table but this is for the family room looks awesome but is sturdy, functional and was easily put together. Love the sit stand function and don’t mine it being manual. Would recommend highly
